The Wainwright Regional Waste to Energy Authority holds an Approval for the 
purposes of owning and operating an incinerator for the disposal of solid 
municipal, industrial and biomedical wastes. The incinerator is operated by G-M 
Pearson Environmental Management Ltd. The Parties contravened the 
Approval with late submission of the 2007, 2008 and 2009 Annual Air 
Emissions Reports; failing to continuously monitor carbon monoxide at the 
incinerator baghouse stack; and the release of substances, to wit mercury, 
dioxins, and furans, into the environment above the approved limit. Paid 28
